Consultation for Parents and Families
We offer private, confidential, free consultation via phone, Skype or in-person for parents and family members of LGBT youth and adults seeking support for their health and wellness, and resources for reconciling LGBT affirmation with Christian beliefs and scripture.
Our team offers listening, helpful questions, prayer, referrals, and can suggest resources relevant to parents and families that are congruent with their denomination and/or faith tradition.
Our role is to support you as a parent, grandparent, step-parent, sibling, etc. You know your loved ones best and we're here to help you find safe-enough places of support close to home. When a family member begins to explore or identify as LGBT+, questions, worries, and concerns can sometimes build up.
If you are worried about your LGBT+ loved one's safety, we want you to receive the best care possible so you should call 9-1-1 or transport them to your nearest emergency room. If you need help finding a supportive professional counselor in your home community, we can help you find referral sources.
If you're the parent of an LGBT+ individual seeking support and/or have questions, a consultation with one of our team members may help you find the resources you're looking for.
